If you are anything like me, you love some helpful information, but get overwhelmed by the collection of tips and tricks you come across, and quickly forget them as new ones come in. Meaning: no action actually gets taken! So to help with that, here is a quick recap of what we have talked about here, to have it all in one place so you can pick one and take some action!

  • Happiness fuels success. So start with happiness. Try: writing three things you are grateful for each day; meditating; journalling a positive experience; undertaking a random act of kindness – as suggested by Shawn Achor.
  • Take some action right now! Whatever it is, and however small, do something towards what you want right now.
  • Nurture and bolster your energy.
  • Start small – like with these 10 minute workouts. And if ten minutes is too much, do 5, or even 2 minutes. It’s about starting, doing something.
  • Start asking yourself: ‘will I be happy I did this?’. If the answer is no, walk away. But if it is yes, jump in!
  • Be kind to yourself. Be your own friend and speak kindly to yourself. Forgive slip ups and give yourself some heartfelt encouragement. Really! Do it!
  • Think about what your stumbling blocks seem to be – and some ways you could get around them next time they show up.
